BMH-BJ is a vibrant traditional community with multiple service options on Shabbat and holidays.

Twice each day of the year, including Shabbat and holy days, our synagogue offers a warm and inviting, lay-led modern orthodox service in our lovely chapel. We adhere to the tradition of separate seating for men and women as our mechitzah runs down the middle of the chapel, enabling men and women to stand side by side before God and to visually connect with everything transpiring during the service.

Recognizing that every Jew’s journey is different, we offer an opportunity for those who wish to experience prayer, learning, singing, and reflection, but prefer to sit together. This opportunity is offered every Shabbat and holy day morning - including Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – with an inspirational service led by our clergy in our beautiful sanctuary.
